[Unboxing] Blue-to-Pink & Built for Thrusts: Unboxing the Lovense Spinel

Hi everyone, it’s Mia here, and today I’m finally unboxing the Lovense Spinel App Thrusting & Heating Dildo.

This one has been on my radar for a while because it’s basically a mini sex machine you can hold in one hand (or mount to a surface and go totally hands-free). So, let’s crack the box open and see what Lovense has packed in here.

First Impressions

The box itself is very “Lovense”: clean, soft colors, and nothing too wild or explicit on the outside. If someone saw it on your desk, they’d probably think you bought a fancy skincare gadget, not a thrusting dildo that can be controlled via app. Discreet delivery vibes: approved.

Once you lift the lid, the first thing you see is the Spinel main body in that cute blue-to-pink gradient. It looks kind of futuristic and a bit innocent, which is funny considering what it’s actually capable of. It feels solid in the hand but not heavy, so straight away it gives “portable toy” rather than big, clunky machine.

What’s in the Box?

Under the cardboard and protective plastic, there’s a lot going on. Lovense really went all-in on attachments here. Inside the box you’ll find:

  • Spinel main body – This is the engine of the toy, with the thrusting mechanism, vibration motor and control buttons built in.

  • Straight dildo attachment – Textured, slightly flexible, and it’s the one that heats up for that warm, realistic feel.

  • G-Curve (curved dildo) attachment – Designed to angle up and really focus on G-spot stimulation.

  • Clitoral base ring – A round attachment that sits at the base of the dildo to give extra external stimulation.

  • Detachable suction cup stand – For sticking Spinel to a smooth surface so you can go hands-free.

  • Detachable handle – A long handle that locks into place so you (or a partner) can easily control the angle and movement.

  • USB charging cable – Standard USB cable, no weird proprietary dock needed.

  • Silicone sticker – A flat pad that helps the suction cup grip tricky surfaces.

  • User manual – Actually useful; there are a few modes and buttons here, so keep this nearby at first.

Honestly, opening all the little bags and laying everything out on the bed feels a bit like building your own pleasure rig.

Getting Hands-On with the Spinel

Once you take the main body out of its slot, you notice the three buttons on the front: power, vibration, and thrusting. Each one has its own job:

  • Power button: long press to turn the toy on/off.

  • Vibration button: cycles through 3 intensity levels and 4 patterns, and if you hold it, it turns on the heating in the straight dildo.

  • Thrusting button: cycles through 4 thrusting levels and one pattern, plus if you hold it, you trigger Turbo Mode for a short burst of maximum speed.

The lights around the buttons flash different colors depending on what’s going on (heating, turbo, pairing, etc.), which sounds like overkill but actually makes it way easier to see what mode you’re in when you’re… busy.

The silicone on the attachments feels soft and smooth, not sticky, and the whole thing feels honestly more “premium gadget” than “cheap toy”. The suction cup and handle lock in with a twist system that feels sturdy, not wobbly, which is important when something is going to be moving up to 1350 strokes per minute (and up to 1450 in Turbo).

The Attachments: Tiny Arsenal of Fun

This is where the unboxing gets fun, because each piece changes how the Spinel behaves:

  • Straight dildo + clitoral base – This is the full dual-stimulation setup. The straight dildo thrusts and vibrates internally while the clitoral ring hugs the outside.

  • Straight dildo on the suction cup – Perfect for lying back and letting it do all the work. The suction cup angle is adjustable so you can tweak it to match your position.

  • G-Curve attachment – This one screams G-spot sessions. The pronounced curve makes it feel more targeted, especially if you’re using the handle and manually controlling angle and depth.

  • Handle alone – If you’re a control freak (no judgement), attaching the handle gives you steering-wheel level control without putting much strain on your wrist.

Putting everything together is very “click and twist”—you align the notches, twist, and it locks into place. No tools, no swearing at tiny pins.

Charging & Build Details

Before you actually play with anything, you’ll want to plug it in. Spinel charges via a USB cable and takes about 160 minutes for a full charge. In return, you get up to around 4 hours and 17 minutes of playtime, depending on how hard you push it (lower levels with heating off last longer, obviously).

Noise-wise, Lovense rates it at 48–63 dB, so it’s not silent, but it’s more “electric toothbrush in the other room” than “power drill in your bed”. And the toy is IPX6 water-resistant, which means you can rinse it under the tap for cleaning (with the charging port sealed) and easily detach the attachments to wash them separately.

First Power-On & App Connection

Okay, so after an impatient charge, you power Spinel on and tap the vibration or thrusting button… and it’s immediately clear this thing is not messing around. The thrusting is strong and surprisingly smooth, and the vibration adds a really nice extra layer instead of feeling like an afterthought.

The straight dildo can heat up to around 38.6–43.7°C (101.5–110.7°F), which is a cozy, body-like warmth rather than “hot water bottle”.

Then there’s the app side of things. Using the Lovense Remote app, you can:

  • Control Spinel at close range or long distance (hello, long-distance partners).

  • Create and save unlimited vibration patterns.

  • Adjust levels precisely instead of just cycling through a few presets.

  • Sync the toy to music or ambient sound.

If you cam, Spinel is also made to show up well on camera and works with a bunch of cam sites, so that’s clearly part of the design too.

Unboxing Vibes Overall

Unboxing the Lovense Spinel feels less like “I bought a toy” and more like “I just got a whole little pleasure system.” Between the suction cup, handle, three attachments, heating, app control, and that wild Turbo Mode, there’s a lot to play with before you even turn the lights off.

It’s travel-friendly, the packaging is discreet, and the build quality feels solid enough that you’re not scared to actually push it to its limits. If you like toys that do things rather than just buzz in one way, Spinel is very much in that category.

I’m honestly pretty excited to keep experimenting with different setups—straight dildo plus clit base for lazy hands-free days, G-curve plus handle for “let’s get specific”, and app play for when someone else wants to take the wheel.

That’s it for the unboxing—now I just need some quality time to really put it through its paces.
